Highly effective tool to use for Abstinence education in any middle or high school classroom. The time length makes it usable during one class period with time left for discussion. It holds young peoples attention and the real-life teens and their stories make a huge impact on the audience. Research-based information about STDs, teen pregnancy, depression, relationships, etc. is presented in interesting ways. I highly recommend this DVD.

This is a very powerful video which we use in our center with clients and in the schools and youth groups. Important medical information has been updated since it first came out. It now comes with two versions on a DVD. The teen version includes images of sexually suggestive content to illustrate the point of the sex saturated media in which we live. In the pre-teen version these images are blurred which was necessary as parents may object to this video being shown otherwise. There is a dramatization of an attempted suicide which is disturbing. I believe this image should be blurred as well but it is not in either the teen or pre-teen version as of 2007 release. This video is well worth using despite the flaws I have mentioned. Watch it first and be sure to communicate any concerns you may have.

I volunteer at local CPC. We show this video to every STD test client who comes in the door. VERY effective!
