This DVD has very practical information. I do have to explain the process of sleep training beforehand and also the popular controversies and misinformation on the Internet. The clients do appreciate what is taught in this DVD.

Our clients found this video to be dated and uninteresting. We still give sleep information but use the Sleep-Easy Solution instead.

Great lesson! It is helpful and a great program to use with our clients about making a routine around bedtime. It would be helpful if the intervals they suggest in the video would be written on the discussion sheet.

We have had quite a few mom's expressing the struggle with sleep and their baby. This curriculum was very helpful to show to the clients.

We show this video after Happiest Baby. It contains great techniques for putting your child to sleep. Applying these techniques does not make a person a non-nurturing parent. It does make them a better rested parent and relieves much of the stress of single parenting.

I was surprised to read the negative reviews of this DVD. I think the method described is sensible. It's not extreme, like "Growing Kids God's Way." Along with this lesson, we give the EWYL clients a handout on Dr.Karp's "5 S's System."

I agree with Angela's review. I am not going to include this lesson in what we offer for EWYL. Also, this DVD gives you the idea that all infants are alike - not so.

This video gives a doctor's method of getting your infant to sleep through the night by teaching parents how to let the child cry it out. While I agree that our clients need guidance on teaching their babies to sleep through the night, our center must focus on teaching clients how to be nurturing parents. This doctor's method is not the best choice for clients who already struggle with not nurturing their babies enough. If clients are nurturing parents, I would not hesitate to teach this method.
