Pete Driscoll has two passions in life which are
inseparable. The first is the Knights of Colum-
bus, which he has been affiliated with for fifty
years. The second is defending the unborn as
the State Pro-Life and Decency Chairman for
Pennsylvania. Pete is a 4th degree Knight and
is a past Grand Knight of Bishop Francis P. Ken-
rick, Council #2256. His
Pro-Life calling started
years ago when he was a
young Knight in his local
council. A Planned Par-
enthood abortion clinic
was getting a great deal
of attention in his neigh-
borhood. “I just couldn’t
stand by and let it hap-
pen”, said Pete. He went
to the Grand Knight and
volunteered to be the Pro-
Life chair of his local coun-
cil. He organized a group of Knights and their
wives and families to say the rosary in front of
that abortion clinic once a month. “It took a
couple of years,” says Pete, “but that abortion
clinic shut down.”
Pete remembers the first time he saw the Pre-
cious Feet. “When I first saw them I was moved
emotionally. I didn’t realize that at 10 weeks
old, an unborn baby is completely formed.
That is when most women have their abor-
tions. I knew this little pin was a very powerful
weapon in the Pro-Life battle.”
By then, Pete was the State Pro-Life Chairman.
He had a title, a calling and a vision - but no
budget. With the blessing of the State Depu-
ty, he personally purchased 200 Precious Feet
and took them to the annual State Convention.
He shared his vision and passion with his fel-

low Knights - telling them to buy one to wear
and some to give away. They sold out imme-
diately! That is when he realized how he was
going to fund his Pro-Life work. He challenged
his Knights to purchase the pins and get them
in the hands of everyone. The Knights were so
supportive that he collaborated with Heritage
House to design a spe-
cial State Council pin
with the Precious Feet
on it. The Knights love
having their own Pro-
Life pin. He has these
and many other Pre-
cious Feet pin designs
available at every event.
To date, Pete has moved
40,000 Precious Feet
pins! With the proceeds
the State Council and it’s
affiliated Councils have
been able to donate money to Crisis Pregnancy
Centers, Maternity Homes and many other Pro-
Life efforts.
Pete concludes, “The Knights of Columbus is
a non violent, Pro-Life group. By wearing the
Precious Feet lapel pin it gives us the opportu-
nity to speak up for the unborn. We are able to
say, ‘This is a baby!’ If any Knight gives his pin
away, all he has to do is call me and I’ll send him
more right away. I want every Knight to always
have pins to give to others to spread the word
- the unborn babies are people, too. And, by
offering them in our meetings, churches and
events, we can fund our Pro-Life organizations
in our councils and donate to crucial Pro-Life
work.”
